The Chinese Language Training Center (CLTC)consists of two sections, Training Division and Project Division, now offeringnon-degree programs to international students from over 40 countries andregions.

The Training Division provides various intensivecourses in Chinese, focusing on the comprehensive improvement of listening,speaking, reading and writing skills. Students are classified into ten differentlearning levels according to their results in the entrance written and spoken examinations.

The Center also offers short-term coursesof various lengths, the shortest being one week catering to oversees students whowant to learn Chinese during their summer or winter vacation in China. Over 20 classesare opened each vacation. This practical training, with its flexible teachingmethods and abundant cultural activities, has attracted international studentsof all ages and from all walks of life. Now we provide short-term Chineselanguage training on regular basis to students sent by universities such asUniversity of Pennsylvania, University of Louisville, Virginia CommonwealthUniversity, Lancaster University, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia,Daito Bunka University, Kobe University, Nagoya University of Foreign Studies,the University of Shimane, University of Bunkyo, Hankuk University of ForeignStudies, Seoul National University, Pusan National University and HanyangUniversity.
