——The 2018 Post Graduate Forum of China, Japan, and Korea Convened Successfully

On the morning of March 11, 2018, thePost-Graduate Forum for China, Japan, and Koreaorganized by the Post-Graduate School of Beijing Foreign Studies University and the school of Chinese Language and Literature was held in the Chinese Building. The institutions participating in this forum are Kansai University in Japan and Beijing Foreign Studies University. The theme of the forum isNew Topics in East Asian Cultural Communication.The forum aims to build a high-quality platform for the academic communication of East Asian post-graduate students.

The one-and-a-half-day forumwasdivided into 15 sub-venues. More than 90 post-graduate students read their latest research results in various fields such as language, literature, and culture. In the discussion session, the present appraisal teachers provided valuable comments and suggestions to the reporters. Otherparticipantsshowed their opinions with the reporters actively as well.

The China-Japan-South Korea post-graduate forum has gone through 12 years. In 2018, the number ofpaper submissionswas three times that of 12 years ago. The quality of the papers has also graduallyimproved.This reflects the academic enthusiasm and the spirit of students.We are all looking forward to a better and brighter future for the post-graduate forum.
