Foreign Students of BFSU Participated in 2017 “Tianjin Recruitment Fair”

On May 12, 2017, Beijing Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs and Foreign Affairs Bureau of Tianjin and Hebei jointly organized 2017 "Tianjin Recruitment Fair".More than 20 outstanding foreign students from Beijing Foreign Studies University participated in the event.

61 employing units from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei joined this fair, including HNA Group, Tianjin Kailaiying Medical Group and other well-known enterprises,Nankai University, Tianjin University, Capital Normal University, and international schools, training centers, kindergartens and other research institutes and social training institutions, providing 770 jobs of 20 classes.

During the activity, according to their own specialty, our students browsed in various recruitment booths to find suitable jobs, timely submit resumes, and communicated with employers and workers in fluent Chinese, some of which have achieveda preliminary cooperation intention.

After the fair, the organizers of Tianjin invited our teachers and students to the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall. And by their explanation, the students and teachers learned more about Tianjin’s history and its modernization .

All sorts of feelings welled up in the students’mind after the trip to Tianjin. They thanked BFSU for organizing such a meaningful activity first, which could let them have more choices and understand the present situation of the job market as well as their own deficiencies in the process of employment. Finally, it is agreed that this event not only enabled them to learn more knowledge, have an in-depth understanding of employment in China, but also was helpful for their future development.
