The students of twelfth project of law enforcement officer
took part in the activity of making dumplings
With the support of the School of Chinese Studies of BFSU and the halal canteen,all the teachers and students,who came from the twelfth projectof law enforcement officer,took part in the activity of making dumplings.ChenXiaoming ,the vice-president of School of Chinese Studies also came and had agood time with the students.
Most of the students had no experience making dumplings,so the chefshowed the steps and the skills and got so many praises.Next,the students andteachers began to make the “artistic creation”.
Even they can’t make it quickly and perfect,but they were creative.Some of them can’t roll the skin well so they made a bigger one than the regular one,then used the bowl to shape a dumpling wrapper;someone showed the shapes of dumplings in their own countries;some others made dumplings as the shapes of heart and stars,which had an inventive mind.
Together with their effort,after one hour,dumplings were finally put into the pot.then the students started an interesting and lively competition called clip the peanuts。
Students have been came to china over two months and they have mastered the skills of using chopsticks proficiently,even though,they really got a bit of nervous in the competition.
After two groups of individual and class contest,the highest record of the 12 phase of enforcement liason project was created which is 29/min.
The steaming hot dumplings were put into dishes,facing their labour results,students can’t wait to taste them.
Students also expressed their appreciation to the staffs in the Muslin restaurant,professor Chen and teachers give high praise to the progressand excellent performance made by them during these period of time.
This activity not only helped students to experience and adapt to the life of China more deeply,but also deepen the affection between teachers and students,which was be praised and be favored by both teachers and students.
