Chineseand Foreign Police Sociability Activity Was Held

On June 3rd 2017, a sociability activity of the 11th International Law Enforcement LiaisonProgram of China's Ministry of Public Security and Beijing Foreign Studies University was held in Beijing Huairou District. The purpose of this activityis to strengthen mutual understanding between law enforcement liaisons of each country, to show more sides of China's police, and to enable national lawenforcement liaisons to further appreciate the atmosphere of the Capital.

Led by Deputy Director Zhong Yue and DeputyChief Cha Jianan of the International Cooperation Bureau of China's Ministry of Public Security, more than 20 Chinese police officers who are responsible for foreign affairs of different countries and 19 countries' international law enforcement liaisons have participated in this event. Six teachers of School ofChinese Language and Literature of Beijing Foreign Studies University are alsoactively involved in the event.

Firstly, the police officers of Huairou Public Security Bureau enthusiastically showed everyone around in Yanqi Lake International Convention and Exhibition Center. Surrounded by green trees andlakes, the center, with its solemnity and grandness, greeted friends from all sides in the hot blue sky. In the main conference hall, national lawenforcement liaisons are impressed by the various Chinese craftsmanship,especially the exquisite and special cloisonne process. The atmosphere of APEC meeting and the BRF forum still existed there, and the peaceful coexistence andwin-win cooperation theme inspired every visitor.

Live CS is a simulated gunfighting match,the purpose of which is to train team cooperation and how to win civilly and skillfully. This is also the purposeof the international law enforcement liaison program. They are interested inthe array, the selection of sniper, attack, defense and so on. More than three hours have passed and everyone was still longing for more and reluctant topart.

The whole team was very pleased with the arrangementsfor the day's activities, and they believed that this event has strengthened the cooperation and mutual understanding of law enforcement liaisons, enriched theirleisure lives and broadened their horizons. At the same time, as a result of using Chinese all the way, their listening and speaking skills were exercised andimproved in practice, which will lay a good foundation for the future law enforcement cooperation.
