A Visit From Chiang Mai Royal University

On the afternoon of September 15th, Mr. Charlie Manicoson, Executive President of the Royal University of Chiang Mai in Thailand, led a delegation to visit the Chinese Academy. Li Jiansheng, Executive Dean of the Chinese Academy, met with Manicosong and his delegation, and held cordial talks with Manicosong on behalf of the Chinese Academy.

Li Jiansheng first extended a warm welcome to President Manicoson's visit to the Chinese Academy. He said that the Chinese Language College of Beijing Foreign Studies University and Royal University of Chiang Mai have a solid foundation of cooperation for many years, and he hopes to further deepen cooperation with Royal University of Chiang Mai in the future in terms of teacher academic visits, student exchange, and research exchange.

Manicosong expressed his sincere gratitude for the assistance provided by the Chinese College over the years in teaching Chinese , and hoped that in the future, the Royal University of Chiang Mai and the Chinese Language College would continue to work together to strengthen cooperation between Chiang Mai University and the Chinese Language College of Beijing Foreign Studies University in talent cultivation, teaching and research, and cultural exchanges, promoting friendship and friendly exchanges between China and Thailand.

During the meeting, Wang Muyao, Director of the Office of the Chinese Academy, Yang Xu, Director of the Department of Chinese as a Foreign Language at the Chinese Academy, and Cheng Miao, Director of the International Student Studio, had friendly exchanges and discussions with the International Program Officer of the Royal University of Chiang Mai, Lawan Rath Buta, and the Chinese Program Lecturer, Banon Lanya, on matters such as teacher exchange and cooperation, and exchange of international students.
